Friendsgiving Celebration Unites the Community Through Culture, Gratitude, and Volunteer Spirit

The Azerbaijan Cultural Society of Northern California (ACSNC) successfully hosted its annual Friendsgiving celebration, bringing together community members for an evening filled with shared food, music, and cultural connection. This year’s gathering highlighted the strength of togetherness, the dedication of volunteers, and the continued importance of preserving Azerbaijani culture in the Bay Area.

ACSNC extends its heartfelt appreciation to the team who helped prepare the venue — Mahammad Shirinov, Elchin Mammadov, Anar Huseynov, Sahila, Omar, and Seljan Ibrahimli. Their commitment and teamwork helped create a warm, festive, and welcoming environment for all attendees.

Special recognition goes to Kamala Aliyeva and Anar Allahverdov for organizing the evening’s interactive games, which added joy, engagement, and camaraderie to the program. The karaoke segment brought even more energy to the celebration, with memorable performances from Gunay Sanani, Aqil, and Kamala, who made the activity fun and uplifting.

ACSNC also expresses gratitude to Aytan Alaverdiyeva and Aynur Suleymanova for their media support, ensuring that the event was beautifully captured and shared with the community.

The Friendsgiving celebration once again demonstrated the power of unity, cultural pride, and volunteer spirit that define the ACSNC community.
