President - Nurlan Shukurlu
Nurlan joined the Azerbaijan Cultural Society of Northern California in 2023 as a volunteer, supporting community events, cultural programs, and youth activities. He later served as Operations Officer and was elected President in 2025. With a professional background as a Senior Software Test Engineer in Silicon Valley, he brings strong organization, problem-solving, and teamwork to ACSNC’s leadership.
He has helped expand cultural and educational programs, supported our language, dance, and Nagara classes, and strengthened youth engagement across the Bay Area.
As President, he focuses on growing ACSNC’s programs, improving operations, and building partnerships that connect and empower the Azerbaijani community in Northern California.

Treasurer - Vusal Ibrahimli
Vusal Ibrahimli serves as the Treasury Officer of ACSNC, bringing over a decade of experience in finance, business intelligence, and data science. He holds dual Master’s degrees from the University of Washington in Information Management, Data Science, and Business Intelligence, as well as an MBA in Finance. Vusal has worked with leading organizations, including Meta (Facebook), Pergola Valley, and several Silicon Valley startups. With deep expertise in corporate treasury, auditing, and financial analysis, he ensures transparency and responsible management of ACSNC’s resources. Beyond his professional career, Vusal is passionate about community service and supporting cultural programs for the Azerbaijani diaspora.

Secreatary - Kamala Aliyeva
Kamala Aliyeva, born in Baku, holds a Bachelor’s and MBA from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. She has professional experience in banking, taxation, and quality control. Kamala currently teaches Azerbaijani language lessons for our children in the Bay Area and actively participates in community events.

Art Director - Anar Allahverdov
Anar was born and raised in Azerbaijan and has been devoted to the performing arts since childhood. Trained at the Baku Choreography School and the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, he spent ten years as a soloist with the Azerbaijan State Ensemble, performing on international stages and representing Azerbaijani culture worldwide. Now based in California, he continues to showcase our heritage through community events and festivals, and co-founded the “Sound of Fire” ensemble. As Art Director, Anar leads ACSNC’s cultural programming, performances, and youth-focused artistic initiatives.
